The Goodcom developers have achieved a significant breakthrough in the GcAnyParking application, introducing a groundbreaking server that seamlessly connects with Goodcom POS devices to facilitate data transfer. This innovation enables the recording of comprehensive daily parking data from linked Goodcom POS systems. The recorded information encompasses vehicle entry and actual exit times, total charge amounts, and other pertinent details. This service can make the management of vehicles more centralized and convenient.
Let’s delve into the operational process of this server in conjunction with our Goodcom POS devices:
Step 1: Locate the IMEI Number of the Desired Device for Connection
Identify the IMEI ID on the POS device; it’s typically situated on the device’s rear side. In the event that the label is damaged or absent, you need not fret. Simply retrieve the IMEI by dialing the following number: *#06#.
Step 2: Configure Parking Lots and Spaces
Access the list and click on “Parking lot.” Subsequently, tap the “Add” button to name and establish the desired parking lots and spaces. This configuration can be configured multiple parking lots.
Step 3: Integrate the Target Device
Navigate to the list and select “Device.” Choose the “Add” option, then specify the parking lot. Enter the device’s name and IMEI number.
Step 4: Configure Server Mode in the Server Settings
Click on Gcanyparking, access the settings list and select “Settings.” Click on “Connection Mode” within the Server Settings and opt for “Server Mode.”
Step 5: Test
Access “GcAnyParking,” input the license plate number and parking duration on the device. Subsequently, the detailed data can be viewed within the server’s check-in.
For vehicle check-out, a simple scan of the QR code suffices, granting access to corresponding data on the check-out section of the server.
The Goodcom GcAnyParking application combined with this new server functionality has resulted in a huge improvement in vehicle management. Through centralized operation, it can not only query the history record but also monitor the overall vehicle.
